How long does the photo shoot really last?
1 - 1.5 hours, start to finish! It goes like this: Introduction, consultation, shoot, review, purchase— DONE! Just like that. We value your time and will only run over our 1 hour appointment time if you don’t mind us taking some extra time to play and shoot with your pup. If you are on a time crunch, simply let us know during the consultation and we’ll be sure to keep it there. Please be aware that photoshoots with more than 3 warm bodies will take more than 1 hour.
Do I need to bring anything?
YES! But not much; mostly treats and fun doggie garments such as bandanas, sweaters, etc (if you have them). As we’re sure you already know, we find that treats are an essential part of getting fur-children to participate. Please bring treats that you don’t mind doling out liberally!
Will I be in any of the photos?
Well, that’s entirely up to you! Our answer is a resounding yes— we l-o-v-e capturing the bond between you and your fur-child(ren), but we also understand that you may feel differently. What if I have multiple pets — or humans?
We truly believe the more the merrier! 3 warm-bodies (humans or pets) from the same family are included in the package price. Additional warm-bodies are $50/each and will added to your package price at the shoot.
How should I prepare day of for the shoot?
You can expect an email with all of the preparation details once you book the appointment, but our biggest ask in this department is to exercise your pet BEFORE your shoot! It’s tough to get dogs (and especially puppies!) to pay attention for long with those short little attention spans, so we ask that you kindly run them (mostly) out of juice before bringing them to us.
When will I get to see the photos?
As soon as we’re done shooting! Our photographers have nailed the process of immediately uploading and choosing the winners so you don’t have to wait a moment to witness the magic we captured. We’ll help guide you through the process of choosing from our three pet photography packages, and then narrowing down the winners.
When and how will the final images be delivered to me?
You can expect your professionally edited images to be delivered to you 7-10 business days after your shoot. We deliver everything online, so keep an eye our for an email from us. That email will contain a link that guides you to your online album where you’ll download the pictures onto your phone/computer/tablet/electronic device to keep forever!
