Jennifer Buhl started Happy Hour Headshot in Denver, Colorado in 2015 out of her combined passion for photography and coffee shops. She expanded the business to Philly when she moved for that brotherly love in 2017!

Rest assured, Jennifer will guide you during your shoot. Her Number 1 priority -- and what keeps her up at night watching headshot videos -- is making YOU LOOK GOOD. (Seriously, she's obsessed.)  She's out to get your most natural angles and expressions and is intent on pulling out that real smile. How does she know what’s up? Well back before having 2 kiddos Jennifer lived in Los Angeles and stumbled upon a most uncanny - and ludicrous! - profession: paparazzi! That’s right, Jennifer was one of a handful of lady “paps” (and among the best of all paps) and spent her days (she was a “day-pap,” not a “night-pap”;) photographing L.A.’s finest from the early 2000s: Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton, Katy Perry, David Beckham, Matthew McConaughey… She even wrote a book: Shooting Stars: My Unexpected Life Photographing Hollywood’s Most Famous (2014). And out of this crazy profession, Jennifer discovered something huge: that celebs often looked even better in paparazzi pictures than in real life when photographed in a natural light outdoor setting with movement in their hair and body. And out of that came the Happy Hour Headshot look. She’s ready to make you into your best celebrity-self!
